What’s New On Netflix In September 2020

  • The Boss Baby: Get That Baby!

If you are thinking that this is going to be yet another Boss Baby show, then you are wrong. Netflix is coming with an interactive show where each viewer will find their call at the Baby Corp. Everyone will get to complete an aptitude test, which will take them on to another level. Although Netflix hasn’t revealed much about this, we are looking forward to it. It is going to be fun and different from everything we have seen so far. The series will be loved by the kids and definitely by some of the adults as well. I cannot wait to check this out. It will be releasing on the 1st of September, 2020.

  • Bookmarks: Celebrating Black Voices

Bookmarks already say a lot about the show, but, let me give you more information about it. It is going to be around 5 minutes long where Black Celebrities will be reading a children’s book from a Black Author. This will help create awareness about social issues amongst the kids and help the parents initiate the talks with them. It is set to touch various themes like justice, action, respect, and identity. It will be releasing on the 1st of September, 2020.

  • Chef’s Table: BBQ

Barbecue is one of the most prominent activities in America. Chef’s table is no different, and if you are like me, I am sure you must be hungry like I am right now. We will be taken to North Carolina and Texas to see different mouth-watering barbecue meats. Not only that we will also be exploring the dishes from Mexico and Australia. I am a sucker for cooking shows, and I can’t wait any longer for it to air. It will be releasing on the 2nd of September, 2020.

  • Away

Away is a sci-fi drama starring Hilary Swank who is set to go on a mission to Mars, it is created by Jason Katims and some others. They were a part of Friday Night Lights and Parenthood. She is supposed to leave her family back for three years for this mission. It won’t be easy for any of the astronauts to do this at a stretch and be away from their loved ones. There will tears, laughter, and complications on this journey. I am certainly looking forward to watching this, and I am sure it is going to be worth the wait. It will be releasing on the 4th of September, 2020.

  • The Duchess

Katherine Ryan starring The Duchess follows the story of a woman who wants to have another kid but has a hard time having one. She contemplates whether or not she should have a baby with her deadbeat ex, who is also the father of her daughter. It is yet another British comedy series, and if you are a fan of those luckily, Netflix has you covered. After seeing the trailer, we sure are awaiting its release. It will be releasing on the 11th of September, 2020. (check: Rust Valley Restorers Season 4.)

  • Sing On!

It is yet another singing competition where the participants will be competing against each other. However, the winner will not be selected as per any regular singing competition’s system. Instead this time, the winner will be chosen based on best mimic. Whoever can sing closest to the original singer will keep proceeding in the show until one of the two finalists wins the jackpot. It does sound like a very different concept, and after the success that The Masked Singer has seen, we sure are very excited about this show. It will be releasing on the 16th of September, 2020.

  • American Barbecue Showdown

Netflix is coming with two Barbecues shows this September and American Barbecue Showdown happens to be one of it. The idea behind this show is to let different contestants cook some delicious meat in an old fashion manner and unique way. Usually, there’s a time limit in cooking competitions, and we all know that barbecue takes time. It will be interesting to see how the contestants will take the pressure of time and also cook at the same time. It will be releasing on the 18th of September, 2020.

  • Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous

The show is set in the events of Jurassic World and is an animated series. It follows six teens who must stay together and survive when their camping is interrupted by dinosaurs. Jurassic has been one of the most famous franchises in the globe and having an animated series added to the franchise is indeed very exciting. Since it is going to be the first TV series in the franchise, we are looking forward to seeing how it will proceed. It will be releasing on the 18th of September, 2020.

  • Ratched

Ratched is a psychological fiction based on a nurse following the story on how she came to be a nurse at a psychiatric hospital. Known for glamourizing the surrealistic, Ryan Murphy has created the show. Sarah Paulson is leading the front and along with her are Sharon Stone, and Vincent D’Onofrio in supporting roles. With such a strong cast, we are awaiting the series and are sure that it will be a hit amongst the viewers. It will be releasing on the 18th of September, 2020. (check: Hi Bye, Mama! In season one, we witnessed many celebrities from the Marvel Alumni, and we are hoping to see a few of them from The Mandalorian. However, we will only know more when the show finally airs. It will be releasing on the 24th of September 2020.

  • Sneakerheads – 9/25

Sneakerheads follows the story of a family man who falls into a crazy scheme provided by his friend to get a sneaker. He is determined to make his money back before his wife finds out about the same. He goes on a hunt to find a rare sneaker. The show stars Andrew Bachelor from Vine. It looks very promising, and it has already been added on my watchlist.
