Trigger warning: contains details of attempted rape and graphic footage that may be distressing to some.

A disturbing incident caught on video shows a man trying to sexually assault a teenage girl inside a doctor’s office. A surveillance camera at the clinic captured the horrifying moment she was grabbed and pushed down to the ground.

The incident took place just before 1 pm on Sunday, November 22, on Foster Avenue in Midwood, Brooklyn. Having arrived early for her doctor’s appointment, the 14-year-old girl was reportedly waiting in the hallway of the cardiologist’s office before the attack took place, according to information revealed by the authorities. As she waited there, the man walked up to her and exposed himself, according to ABC7NY.

The young girl tried to run away when she saw the attacker walk towards her but before she could escape, the man grabbed her and knocked her to the ground. The CCTV footage shows the teen trying to fight back even as the man covered her mouth and reportedly tried to rape her right there, in the hallway.

Cops revealed that the attacker yelled at the girl to “shut up” and “stop screaming,” as reported by New York Post.

The assaulter continued being violent with the teenage girl but when he saw that she was still resisting him, he eventually sped off from the doctor’s office. The man jumped on his moped and fled from the scene, making his way down Foster Avenue toward McDonald Avenue.

It was also reported that the girl’s mother was trailing behind her while the teenager was waiting in the hallway. By the time the mother arrived, the cruel attacker left the scene, according to ABC7NY.

The New York police is on the lookout for the suspect and is urging the public to share any information that might lead to his arrest.

d people to come forward with any details they may have on the attacker by calling NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).

Another incident led to a woman being rescued from her abusive, estranged boyfriend after an attack was caught by a neighbor’s doorbell camera in 2019 in Arcadia, Los Angeles.

The incident saw the woman trying to get help by banging on the neighbor’s door, immediately after which her ex-boyfriend, Robert Michael Mendez could be seen aggressively dragging her away.

“We looked out the side window over here, and witnessed him stomping on her and pulling her by her hair. It was awful,” said the neighbor, Tammy Raycraft, as reported by CBS Los Angeles.

“We kind of suspected that it might be the neighbor because he disappeared so quickly,” added the neighbor, who informed the police after witnessing the attack.

The chilling footage (which may be distressing to some) that was recorded by the doorbell security camera eventually helped the police identify the violent attacker.

The cops were able to track the man down and charge him with attempted murder, kidnapping, and false imprisonment among other charges. The woman was rescued and taken to the hospital to have her injuries checked.
