Meet Riff Rat and Osiris, a dynamic team who, despite their vast size disparity, are completely bonded.
Osiris is a Dutch Shepherd, while Riff Rat is a rat, as his name implies. When Riff Rat was only four weeks old, he was rescued from the edge of death.
Osiris, who was rescued after being abandoned in a parking lot, assisted Riff Rat in his recovery.
Osiris was only meant to be living with the family for a short time, but they fell in love with him right away and chose to keep him permanently.
As a result, it’s understandable that Osiris would be so receptive to a fellow rescuer, regardless of size or species.
The two are criminal partners who can’t be apart for more than a second; their mutual trust is incredible.
Initially, there were concerns that the two might not get along, but these concerns were quickly dispelled.
They clicked straight away and have become inseparable. They’re so close that Osiris frequently allows Riff Rat to brush his teeth in his mouth.
“Riff Ratt enjoys licking Osiris’ lips inside and out. I’m sure you’re asking if we’re worried that Osiris will eat Riff – the answer is no! “Osiris has assisted with the care of dozens of animals and is the gentlest dog I’ve ever met,” their human said on Instagram.
“Seeing them look after one other and form such an unexpected relationship gives me a glimmer of hope for the rest of the world’s creatures — including humans:),” says the author.
