“You can tell a lot about a person by the way they treat animals.”
Bounder enjoys many things in life, but his favorite pastime is unquestionably playing fetch.
“He’s fascinated,” Bounder’s mother, Brittney Reynolds, told us. “He’ll keep playing fetch until I tell him to stop.”
Bounder adores everyone he meets, which means he’ll play fetch with just about anyone. Reynolds went outdoors one day after hearing Bounder barking and decided to investigate. He was barking at the neighbor for the nicest of reasons, it turned out.
“The neighbor was sitting on his back patio with the ball gun on the table, and Bounder was staring him down and barking at him,” Reynolds explained. “I attempted to persuade him to stop barking, but his next-door neighbor got up and began shooting the ball gun for him.” It was simply adorable. I went over to congratulate him for playing with my son and discovered that they had been doing so for quite some time.”

The neighbor seems to have caught up on Bounder’s passion of fetch and chose to indulge it, and they now enjoy playing fetch together across the fence whenever they have the chance. The neighbor also owns a dog, indicating that he is an animal lover, and it warms Reynolds’ heart to see them playing together.
“I am a great dog lover, and seeing people treat pets so properly always makes me happy,” Reynolds said. “Our dogs are our family, and I believe the way a person treats animals reveals a lot about them.”

Bounder’s family and the neighbor’s family have become closer as a result of him, and Bounder and the neighbor’s dog, Lyla, have even had playdates. The game of fetch brought them all together – and will continue to do so in the future, since Bounder has no intention of stopping playing with his neighbor anytime soon.
“Since then, I’ve seen him outdoors looking for the neighbor,” Reynolds added. “He’s a sucker for a fetch game.”
