Barry is a cute Gloster canary with a cool hairstyle. And what’s the deal with his hair? It appears to be a flawlessly executed bowl cut.
Gloster canaries are native to the Canary Islands, however they are not commonly observed in the wild. They are the end consequence of decades of selective breeding. Gloster canaries are classified into two types: Consorts (smooth heads) and Coronas (crested heads). Barry is of the second kind, and he has lovely hair.
The birds with the adorable “Beatles hairstyles” are not very friendly with humans. They do not get along with people as well as parrots. They are, nonetheless, well-known for being enthusiastic and brilliant vocalists.

“On July 26th, we went to a pet shop to seek for the right bird,” Barry’s owner explained. “When we returned on the 27th, we knew he was the one!”
“We believe he is one and a half years old, but we have no confirmation (Glosters may live for seven to twelve years),” the owner explained. “There are two varieties of gloster canaries: consorts (the ones without the fringe) and coronas (the ones with the fringe), and it’s very evident which category Barry belongs to!”
“Barry truly likes going out in his bird carrier,” Barry’s owner stated. “We’ll wander through parks and fields, and he’ll twitter and jump with delight.”
“He also enjoys sitting on the window sill and singing,” stated Barry’s owner.
When asked about Barry’s popularity, his owner stated, “I never anticipated to surpass 1k followers, but we love and appreciate every single one of Barry’s fans!”
He’s since updated his hairstyle, and his Instagram bio reads, “I’m the bird with the fringe!” And he now has over 10,000 followers.
