VerĂ³nica Duque is not your average teacher. She is a woman who goes above and beyond to make sure her students are engaged and excited about learning. Recently, the 43-year-old decided to give a class on anatomy in a full-body suit that mapped out the human body in sharp detail.
VerĂ³nica has been teaching for 15 years, and currently teaches the third grade. She is always looking for ways to make her lessons more interesting and engaging for her students. When she saw an ad for an AliExpress swimsuit that mapped out the internal organs of the human body, she knew it was worth a try.
Her husband Michael tweeted some pictures of the lesson, and VerĂ³nica instantly went viral. The tweet generated over 65K likes and 14k comments, making her a symbol of creativity and dedication in the education community.
But VerĂ³nica isn’t done yet. She has plenty of other surprises up her sleeve for her students. She likes to use disguises for history lessons and cardboard crowns to help her students learn grammar. She believes that teachers are often unfairly stereotyped as lazy bureaucrats, and she is determined to change that perception.
When people saw VerĂ³nica in her full-body suit, some compared her to Slim Goodbody. For those who may not be familiar, Slim Goodbody is a costumed character created by John Burstein who has been championing children’s health for over forty years. His productions are watched by millions of children on Discovery Education, and his live shows tour theaters around the US, reaching thousands of children every year.
VerĂ³nica Duque and Slim Goodbody may come from different worlds, but they both share a passion for education and a commitment to helping children learn in exciting and engaging ways. We need more teachers like VerĂ³nica and more advocates for education like Slim. Together, they can help make a positive impact on the lives of countless children around the world.

She I s so adorable in the body attire. God bless her for engaging with kids to help them learn more quickly, instead of being put to sleep by a mono-tone reading of the subject of bodily functions. I want her for my grandkids teacher.

Is Slim Goodbody any relation to Nurse Goodbody from the TV show “Hee Haw”? All kidding aside, I DO remember Slim Goodbody and reading about him in a reader from maybe 3rd grade or so. Remember Conan O’Brien’s spoof of the same character whom I believe was named Slim Organbody who even had a dog named Guts? The poor dog had on a body suit showing the “innards” of a canine! Not to be too much of a whatever, but did that teacher even describe reproductive organs? My rather conservative parents would not have approved of 8 and 9-year-olds knowing about that. I’m not sure how I feel about at what age children should learn about human reproduction. When I went on a Saturday field trip for 6th-graders circa May of 1977, we went to the Indianapolis Children’s Museum and among the displays there was a “statue” of a woman which showed her internal organs and she even described her sex organs and how she could get impregnated. She was careful to say that if she mated with her husband it would happen. I guess they were trying to discourage illegitimacy, which I think SHOULD be discouraged.
