Today we are living in a rapidly changing world. With the new technological development, the world as a whole has become a global village. More freedom is encouraged, and anyone can live their life as they want. No one questions the dress we wear, the food we eat, and even our lifestyle. However, this liberty was not the same few decades ago.
During old age, there was a conventional limited society. Even the thinking pattern of the people was broad and narrow-minded. Wearing a swimming suit or a mini dress became a huge topic in society, and it was considered an offense or an unconventional action. Thus especially for the women who lived a few decades back, life was not easy and smooth like nowadays.
Some ancient images indicate how old age functioned and the liberty of one person or many caused the public outcry.
Earlier, women cannot participate in Marathon. However, a brave woman named Kathrine Switzer participate in the Boston Maraton in 1967, and the male organizers tried to drag her away. The incident happened five years before the women were allowed to participate.
