To say Corbin is a huge dog is an understatement. As a Great Dane, he’s 150 pounds of legs and devotion, and the best description is ‘gentle giant.’
Because he is so large, people will cross the road. “Yet they don’t realize that he’s scared of his own shadow,” Karen explained.
Corbin’s heart is bigger than his physique, and kittens melt the heart of this massive dog.
Karen has been fostering kittens for the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society for a number of years.
Karen’s foster kittens are enough to make anyone happy, but “when he (Corbin) is permitted to come and spend some time with the kittens,” says Karen.
Karen, on the other hand, initially took precautions to keep Corbin away from the foster kittens.
He was just enormous, and she was worried about an unintended paw stepping in the wrong place. He is also awkward due to his stature.
“He stumbles over everything, sits on people, and sits on our pets,” said the owner.
Corbin, on the other hand, had had enough of Karen’s anxieties and ran into the kitten room past her.
Despite the fact that he was large in comparison to their diminutive size, Corbin proved to be the most kind dog kitten foster father ever!
He likes to kiss the kittens with his massive canine tongue, yet he’s always cautious around them, acting like a wonderful mom cat!
Among the foster kittens Corbin has cared for, one in particular stands out as his best companion.
Jesper fell in love with the enormous dog the moment she saw him. The little tabby cat appreciated the chance to be near her bigger companion.
“I suppose she was just saying, ‘Hey, Corbin, I’m here,’ by chewing on his paws a little bit.” I’m right behind you. “Come and hang out with me.”
Witnessing the pair form a bond, Karen stated, “the two of them simply clicked.” “It was fantastic.”
Corbin misses Jesper now that he has a new home, but he understands that adoption is the goal, and his mother is pleased of him for his kind disposition.
“I absolutely appreciate it in him because he has this potential,” Karen remarked.
