Sumer Walser Williams and her husband were jolted awake one morning in North Carolina by the noises of an unexpected visitor. A lovely infant bear kept an eye on them through the windows.
Sumer, who talked with The Dodo, said that
“We heard noises outside our bedroom window, which faces out into our front porch. As soon as I turned on the front deck lights, there was a puppy at the front door.”
The pair were unconcerned about being woken up with a scandal by this weird beast at sunrise. On the contrary, she was delighted and enthralled.
Sumer remarked,
“We were thinking, ‘This is just great.'”
However, not everyone was delighted with the bear’s willingness to test the limits. The cub’s mother appeared after a few seconds, stepping onto the terrace and punishing him for what she had seen him do.
Sumer, a mother of two young children, understood the mother bear’s anguish at her son’s misbehavior.
“She stated,” she said.
“It was a piece of cake to figure out.” On a frequent basis, I had this experience with my own children. That, I feel, is what contributed to the video’s greatness. It proved that certain aspects of parenting are shared by all species.”
“I’ve warned you a hundred times not to bother humans,” the lady imagines the mother bear telling her cub.
