The story of a lonely newborn fox spotted in a homeowner’s garden has a happy ending. When a crew of rescuers came to his rescue, the lovely little creature was upset and weeping. He was ultimately reunited with his mother, which was wonderful!
When this Virginia family saw a newborn fox alone in their garden, they instantly suspected something was wrong. They phoned the Animal Welfare League of Arlington for assistance since the fox appeared to be bewildered.
“A nearby homeowner heard a little cry coming from their yard last night and discovered this newborn fox, alone and weeping for his mother,” the Animal Welfare Organization stated on Facebook. “They got in touch with us immediately away!”
Sgt. Ballena and Officer Elpers arrived on the scene shortly after. After viewing the young fox, the two were relieved to see that he was in fine health. They subsequently commented on Facebook, “Thankfully he was aware, hydrated, and had a full belly.”
Because a newborn fox’s prospects of survival are minimal without its mother, the two rescuers understood they needed to find a method to bring them together. They were fairly certain the mother fox was nearby, so they devised the ideal solution! The infant was placed in a basket in such a way that the mother could readily reach him, and the basket was then left in the same location where the baby was discovered. Meanwhile, the homeowner was keeping a close check on it!
Thankfully, the next morning, everyone was overjoyed to discover the couple had been reunited! Without the rescuers’ foresight, this joyful ending would not have been conceivable. Both cops are true heroes!
