At Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai, Thailand, a cute young elephant called Pyi Mai, who had previously tried to make friends with a dog, decided she needed some alone time away from the herd.
Wan Mai, an elephant, discovered that the young one had gone away and set out to find her “little sister.” Wan Mai discovered the infant alone in a waterhole and attempted to persuade Pyi Mai out of the water, warning her that she should never be left alone again.
PYi Mai sneaks away from her mother and caregivers to go swimming in peace. Wan Mai observed Pyi Mai playing alone and went over to protect her little’sister,’ admonishing her not to swim alone or be away from the company of her elders.
Pyi Mai was finally rescued from the sea and returned to the herd by Wan Mai.
They all got into the sea together the next time.
