He was left without water and trapped in a sweltering car, with no sign of his owner.
When policemen saw the poor puppy, they were forced to bash out the vehicle’s windows to save the animal from suffocating in the heat.
It is unknown how long the dog was left in the car. Footage has been released showing a cop using a tool to crack the driver’s side window open.
As he desperately tries to escape, the wheezing dog leaps out the window, fully unconscious of the glass around him.
Officers then give him water, which he promptly drinks. The dog is then seen staring about in surprise.
