People in Tokyo have recently witnessed what we have dubbed “the world’s most patient pet walker.” Meet the Sulcata tortoise, a huge African spurred tortoise that is the pet of an old guy who takes the tortoise about town.
The two of them form a strange couple, but given the size of the tortoise, it is clear that they have been together for quite some time. The tortoise’s owner occasionally dresses it up in costumes, and the gentle pet, who reportedly doesn’t mind plodding along with its owner, although slowly.
