People have been increasingly inventive with 3D printing as its popularity has grown. The possibilities are boundless, from 3D-printed dog pots to sculptures and even food. It’s also intriguing to see what new ideas folks have. One creative animal lover uses 3D printing to make helmets for his cat, and the robust feline equipment is outrageously charming.
Rémy Vicarini and Cathode, his cat, spend a lot of time together. With their outings ranging from skiing to long bike rides across town, it’s no wonder that the caring pet parent felt compelled to provide his furry buddy with some extra safety. Vicarini builds unique designs using specialist software and then 3D prints the helmets to ensure they fit his cat correctly. However, he’s grown pretty inventive with the feline’s headwear, and some of his creations are just for amusement. Vicarini has built copies of the Iron Man helmet and even Darth Vader’s headgear for his cat, in addition to motorcycle helmets and an unique feline hardhat with particular holes for Cathode’s ears.
Cathode is prepared for everything life throws at him thanks to his collection of trendy helmets. Vicarini’s excellent 3D-printed cat helmet designs can be seen below, and you can even get a closer look at his fabrication process on Instagram.

The little cat helmets come in a variety of sizes and forms, with some patterns emulating well-known character outfits.
