I can’t image how painful it would be to lose a dog. A sentiment shared by every dog lover on the planet. Unfortunately, we have no control over those events, but we can do our best to preserve the memories.

Smiff’s family was devastated when he died last month. They all, however, have a soft spot in their hearts for the beautiful puppy. A kind gesture for a loyal canine companion. Libby, on the other hand, would have have known that Smiff’s fur brother, Frank, is just as upset by the loss as they are.

As a result, when Frank saw his late brother’s photo on the wall, he had one of the most poignant reactions a dog could possibly have. “I think Frank understands that’s a painting of his brother,” the lady said on Facebook after capturing the moving image on video. He most certainly does, based on his reaction. Take a peek at:

Frank’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. “A dog never dies; he only sleeps in your heart!” after all.
