Oops 🐍👒
When an Australian family left a pile of goods hanging in their garage, they didn’t think much of it. Why should they, after all? They always left things dangling there. When a family member went to get his hat, he soon knew something was wrong.
Someone has already put the cap on.
A inquisitive carpet python had apparently seen the hat and decided it was the ideal spot for an afternoon snooze. The sun was shining just exactly on the place, making it pleasant and warm, and the python couldn’t resist. He didn’t seem to mind that the hat previously belonged to someone else; he only wanted to borrow it for a time.
“A little cooler the last few days, but we are still receiving calls for sleeping [p]ythons and snakes attempting to make the most of the sun trying to squeeze through the clouds,” Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers said in a Facebook post.
The family didn’t want to bother the snake, but they wanted their hat back, so they called Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers and asked us to come and get him.
Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers stated, “Thanks to Dave for heading out and moving this cheeky python back out into the wild.”
The snake’s snooze may have been disrupted, but maybe he’ll find a new position that’s just as comfortable and doesn’t require someone to wear it.
