AN ABANDONED COYOTE PUP IS SAVED BY A BUDDING BOTANIST AND GIVEN A BATHTIME.
When an amateur botanist went on a walk in the fields, he stumbled discovered an abandoned coyote pups in severe need of his assistance.
Joey Santore, a locomotive engineer, likes to relax by going on a walk and filming his botanical adventures across California.
However, on June 23, on a journey to Siskiyou County, Joey came discovered a young, starving coyote frantically attempting to flee.
Joey quickly realized the puppy was alone and there were no other puppies or parents nearby, so he decided to pursue the frightened animal.
The eight-week-old female, clearly terrified and weary, could hardly mount a struggle and let Joey take her back to his car.
After completing his botany research, Joey returned home with the small pup and bathed her before delivering her to a shelter.
“The coyote’s parents were most likely shot,” Joey remarked.
“I brought the Coyote to a wildlife rehabilitation center the next day after I gave her a wash.”
