Never leaving home again 🤷♀️❤️
Sundae’s mother would constantly discover that Sundae had collected some of her belongings and brought them to her dog bed when she returned home from errands or whatever she was doing. She thought it was a cute and amusing habit and wanted to learn more about it, so she bought a camera.
Sundae’s mother told The Dodo, “When I’d leave her home, even if it was only for a few minutes, I’d come back and she’d have my shoes, socks, essentially any piece of clothing, and occasionally strange stuff like ChapStick in her bed.” “I’d never really witnessed her placing things in her bed before, and I was simply intrigued to watch how she did it.”
Sundae’s mother went to the shop for the first time since setting up the camera, and she was curious to see what Sundae did when she wasn’t at home. She was in the supermarket when the CCTV system alerted her that there had been movement in the house. She began viewing the live broadcast on her phone, and the images she witnessed made her cry.
Sundae had gotten out of bed and walked over to the door. Instead of moving about the house, she simply stayed still, waiting for her mother to return.

Sundae’s mother explained, “I would get a notice every time she placed herself beside the entrance.” “I was crying at the grocery store, watching her wait for me, and my heart practically broke.”
Sundae appears to have developed a habit of standing at the door whenever her mother leaves the house. She gets up from time to time to gather her mother’s belongings and place them in her bed, but she mostly simply waits. It’s a pattern that works for her, but it’s made her mother swear she’ll never leave the home again.
Sundae’s mother replied, “Just the concept is too much for my heart to take.” “From now on, I’m going to the store with her.”
