Hi, I’m a snail.
I know I sometimes munch on your delicious garden leaves. It can’t be helped – they’re just so tasty! But before you reach for the harsh chemicals, listen to a friendly snail’s advice.
Those poisons? They’re awful for me. Not only do they cause a slow and painful death, but they also pollute your precious garden soil.
There’s a much better solution! Sprinkle some coffee grounds around your plants. Not only will I find them unappealing, but the coffee grounds will actually act as a fertilizer, giving your plants a little nutritional boost.
And hey, if you see me clinging to a vase, please don’t try to pry me off. That delicate film covering me is my protective wrapper, and ripping it can be deadly.
Speaking of delicate, those tiny creatures following me aren’t creepy crawlies to be scared of. They’re my babies! Born without shells, they’re incredibly vulnerable. Soon, nature will bless them with their own tiny, fragile shells. (Please resist the urge to touch them – they’re super delicate!) Just a few of my little ones will survive, but that’s the circle of life, right?
Remember, snails like me have been around for a very long time, playing a vital role in the ecosystem. Let’s find a way to share your garden peacefully. Thanks for listening!
