Hundreds of houses, mosques, schools and workplaces were destroyed and many parked vehicles were damaged in Adıyaman, which was affected by the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes.
Adıyaman was one of the most damaged provinces in the earthquakes of 7.7 and 7.6 magnitude, centered in Kahramanmaraş, affecting 10 provinces.

Hasan Kara, who lived the moment of the earthquake, told Anadolu Agency (AA) that they lived a day like the apocalypse.
Explaining that he was caught in the earthquake at home, Kara said, “All the houses next to our house were destroyed. We hurriedly threw ourselves out. The outside was wailing. We suffered great damage. All the belongings in our houses became unusable. Hundreds of vehicles were left in the wreckage in this neighborhood. Everything that was in the hands of the nation was gone. ” said.
