He’s infamous 😂
The proprietors of this Denver convenience store are fed up with shoplifters and aren’t afraid to show it. As a result, they have a widely displayed “wall of shame,” which is a compilation of images of previous violators captured on the store’s surveillance cameras.
But one of them is distinct from the others.
A dog portrait hangs on the wall, his fluffy puppy face peering back in lovely infamy.
What was his crime?
A fading caption beneath the photo says, “Beef Jerky Thief.”
Despite this, he is referred to as a “decent guy.”
We got out to Jakub Niedzwiecki, a frequent visitor to the convenience shop, to discover more about the event that put the dog on the wall of shame. He informed the proprietors of what had occurred.
“The fuzzy boi belongs to a regular client,” Niedzwiecki explained. “The dog is so fond of the jerky aisle that it couldn’t help but bite on a stray Slim Jim and (almost) stroll out of the shop with it.”
On one instance, the dog was apprehended before fleeing with his theft. Nonetheless, he was posted as a joke to the wall of shame.
The dog, on the other hand, is shameless. He’s permitted inside with his owner, who has become friends with the storekeepers, but the dog still appears to be looking for another opportunity to loot.
“The jerky incident was what brought them all together,” Niedzwiecki explained. “[The store owners] informed me that every time the dog comes in, his nose directs him to the same aisle.”
