Roger has made it his life purpose to be as warm and cuddly as possible since he was a puppy.
Roger’s mother, Autumn Nelson, told us, “[He] LOVES snuggles.” “He loves crawling up and placing his paw on each of our shoulders to give us ‘facial hugs.'” He also enjoys playing with and cuddling with our kitties.”
Roger’s favorite hobby while looking for cozy spots has always been burrowing. His favorite hiding location lately has been in the sleeves of his mother’s sweaters, which has proven to be inconvenient.
“A few weeks ago, he did it for the first time… “I summoned him outside because I heard him whining upstairs, and I discovered him entangled in my sweater,” Nelson explained. “Of course, I couldn’t stop laughing and decided I needed to record it before letting him out!” He just glanced at me, a mixture of humiliation and guilt on his face.”
Roger looked so cute crammed into his mother’s sweater, like the cutest doggo burrito ever. Even though he was very cozy, Roger didn’t find it quite as amusing.
Roger’s mother assumed he’d learnt his lesson by then, but he’s already gotten himself trapped in the sleeves of her sweaters twice more.

“Every time I’ve discovered him, it’s been because he’d finally chosen to go out but couldn’t, so he’d whine,” Nelson explained. “I’d go into my room, only to see him in yet another sweater.”
Roger has never tried to burrow in his mother’s sweaters before in the seven years since he joined his family, and no one knows why he’s suddenly grown intrigued with it. His previous burrowing escapades had never gotten him so trapped. He must find something incredibly comforting about the sweater sleeves since he constantly going back to them.
His family wishes they could just let him be trapped for as long as he wants, but they can’t.
Nelson recalled, “He’s always burrowed [in] baskets of clothing and blankets.” “He wraps himself around them like a burrito, but until the other week, he’d never done the sweater thing.” We’ll have to put our washing basket away in the closet now.”
Roger should be able to move about more freely now that all of the sweater sleeves have been hidden (even though it is pretty darn funny). Instead, he’ll have to look for new areas to burrow as he continues on his endeavor to remain as warm as possible at all times.
