There are over 18,000 bird species in the globe. And we basically know about the most well-known. But this time, let’s take a look at a rare bird you’ve probably never heard of. It’s called a Coot, and it’s ridiculously awesome.
When we initially glanced at this bird, we didn’t see anything out of the norm. However, we became aware of its feet and chose to exhibit them to you.
A coot is a medium-sized bird that looks like a cross between a hen and a duck. It is a duck that spends the most of its time swimming.
There are many different kinds of coots, including Eurasian, American, Andean, and even Hawaiian coots. They have minor variances, but one thing stays constant: their feet.
We just have one more thing to say. Their feet are not only visually pleasing, but they also aid them while they are in the water.
And it’s probably one of the few birds that looks well both on land and in the water.
