“He finally saw the baby move … now he doesn’t want to leave my side” 😍
This lovely kitten named Mingy’s life is about to get a whole lot more exciting. Mel Kappuccino, Mingy’s mother, is expecting her first (human) kid, which means Mingy will soon be an elder brother.
He only recently found out.
Kappuccino, who is reaching the end of her second trimester, never revealed her pregnancy to Mingy. But he seemed to notice a shift: “He certainly started acting different,” Kappuccino told The Dodo.
Mingy, on the other hand, finally put two and two together the other day. While Kappuccino was sitting on the couch, the baby began to move, which clearly surprised the cat.
“That’s when he got up to look into it,” Kappuccino explained. “I began recording.”
Mingy laid his paw tenderly on Kappuccino’s baby belly, seeming to comprehend at that moment that it was his little sibling inside her.
“I was fortunate enough to capture this amazing moment,” stated Kappuccino.
Everything changed after that. Mingy began to accept his new role as the protective elder brother.
“For the first time ever, he watched the baby move, and now he doesn’t want to leave my side,” Kappuccino explained.
Mingy had finally “met” his little sibling, kicking off a new friendship that will undoubtedly last a lifetime.
“I adore Mingy, therefore it’s really essential to me that my child grows up with him at his side,” Kappuccino explained. “I have a feeling they’re going to be best friends for life, and I’m looking forward to it.”
