You’re probably familiar with the common red fox, but did you know that there are a variety of other fox species around the world, each with its own distinct color? Anastasiya Dobrovolskaya, a Moscow-based photographer, deciphered the magical woodland creatures’ unique beauty in a recent portrait named Autumn Equinox, which features three people holding three distinct colored foxes.
An all-white arctic fox, a red fox with a white-tipped tail, and a silver fox with a black/gray coat are shown in the magnificent image from left to right. With their individual hair color and contrasting clothes, the female models in the shot mimic the three foxes’ colors, illustrating the diversity present in both humans and nature.
“Complex, complicated photos, magnificent clothes and accessories, filming with animals,” Dobrovolskaya admits. Because she like to photograph in natural settings, the great photographer also captures the beauty of other creatures such as swans, horses, and even grizzly bears. Many of Dobrovolskaya’s furry subjects were born and nurtured in protected national parks, where they are habituated to human contact.
