The fascinating insects are depicted performing a variety of unusual tasks, giving the fantastic scenes the appearance of being lifted straight from the pages of a fairytale.
Andrey Pavlov, a talented photographer, spent hours setting up the stunning scenes for the marvelous macro images.
However, the photographer admitted that he didn’t have to travel far to find his subjects because an anthill was just metres from his house in Moscow, Russia.

Awesome! Some of them look photoshopped but I have seen videos of ants doing some unbelievable feats! I believe it was narrated by David Attenborough and the film showed ants building a body float to cross over water. I don’t know if it was the same show but I’ve also seen ants do the same to build a bridge! They are an amazing species! Thank you for sharing ~
