When a Goat is About to Be Sold, it Hugs its Owner and Sobs Like a Human

A goat that was purchased to be sold hugs and sobs with its owner. You can watch the heartbreaking video below, but be warned: it may make you cry.

Yes, just when you thought the internet had run out of cute animal videos, along comes a speckled goat.

It’s a story that will make you want to hug your kids, and if you don’t have a goat, your children.

@ram vegan shared the video on Twitter, and aside from the flute instrumental that sounds like the inside of any spa ever, it’s pretty cute.

“Even animals who can’t speak have feelings and emotions,” the Twitter user continued.

“Despite their inability to communicate, they adore their owner.”

“When they are separated from their owner, their soul suffers.”

And, in fact, the user isn’t far off, because goats cry or scream “bleat in order to communicate They may make noise if they are hungry, hurt, or if there is a threat to their herd.

According to the Natural History Museum, “mother goats may also call to their young children when they become separated.”

Please wait while we cry.

Still, the video wasn’t just a sweet display of affection, as one Twitter user suggested that it should make people reconsider their carnivorous habits, adding: “If you eat meat, you are complicit in this.

“ARE YOU THAT CRUEL?”

“There will come a time when humans will have to answer for all of this,” he continues.

“Nature will brutally do it for us one day.”

We hope this does not imply that we will be sold like the goat, but it is certainly food for thought.
