What’s in a name, anyway? That’s what: a wide, cheerful smile and a wagging tail. Just look at these gorgeous puppies.
Various puppies are videotaped doing one thing and one thing only: reacting to their names being called in a sequence of films posted by Dogtown, a canine day care center in Virginia.
The dogs’ reactions are nothing short of wonderful, despite the fact that the idea appears to be pretty straightforward.
Dogtown wrote, “They’re all very thrilled.”

These puppies clearly like being the center of attention.
“Watching them respond when their name is spoken is always enjoyable,” a Dogtown spokesman told The Dodo. “We like getting to know each dog and developing a bond with them.”

Despite being surrounded by other dogs and surrounded by friendly barking, each dog seems to recognize that it’s their own name being called — and that nice things await them if they react.
However, simply witnessing it is a tiny slice of happiness.
The spokeswoman said, “We enjoy working with dogs!” “Our dog customers consider Dogtown to be a second home. That’s how we want it to feel.”
