The regular conflict between the mailman and the dog has been going on for a long time, but UPS driver Jason Hardesty has decided to call a ceasefire. The self-described “easily amused UPS driver” takes the time to stop and greet the lovely canines he sees on his daily New Orleans route. Rather than barking and driving him out of their domain, the pups are content to pose for a picture.
In February of this year, Hardesty began taking Instagram selfies with his canine companions. His weekly posts, which use the hashtag #pupsofjay, highlight the numerous cute dogs who dwell in the region. Hardesty stands with each critter outside their house and introduces them to his fans by name, from tiny pups to large hounds. Hardesty has a way with animals, as seen by his adorable images, in which each doggie appears to love the attention and even gives him doggy kisses.
