A behaviorist even offered assistance, but the owner declined, insisting on putting Marcus down. “It’s disgusting. I have not been able to sleep much because I am still so angry. Dogs bark. It’s what they do,” said Lucie Holmes, the founder of the rescue, in an interview with BBC News.
