A Lovely Relationship Exists Between This Four-Year-Old Kid And His Foal

by Stephen King

Animals and children have always gotten along swimmingly. In fact, it’s difficult to imagine a finer pair than a child and a dog. Regardless, I believe that children should become accustomed to being near any farm (and not only) animal, including horses.

Horses, especially foals, are large and highly strong animals, yet they can also be extremely playful and kind. Furthermore, when there is a little person around, newborn horses become much more playful. As proof, this 4-year-old Icelandic boy and his best four-legged companion have a genuinely touching relationship.

Thordur and the foal fell in love at first sight. When the 4-year-old first visited the barn, he couldn’t contain his delight at seeing the small horse. But it was a two-way street!

The young one’s mom noted in the video description, “Thordur was quite fond of him, and the same can be said of the foal.” Take a look at this:

Despite the fact that the two appear to be the best of friends, and the photographs and film from the bottom speak for itself, everyone should be reminded that a child should never be near horses (or any other large animal) without the presence of a parent (or an adult).
