He doesnât even own a cat đ
Andrew Falloonâs father just underwent surgery and has been recovering at home since. While physiciansâ prescriptions for plenty of bed rest might be a little restrictive at times, itâs not something Falloonâs father has had to deal with alone.
Evidently, one bewhiskered local heard that Dad might use some company â and proceeded to provide it in the most charming way conceivable.
âMy mother went out to perform some errands and accidentally left one of the doors slightly open,â Falloon explained to us. âShe returned home to see Dad and [this cat] snuggled together on the couch.â
Though it wasnât quite a one-sided embrace, the stray kittyâs friendly gesture was nonetheless lovely. Despite the fact that Falloonâs father was sleeping, they ended up holding hands as they dozed away together. He had no idea the whole time.
âMy father has never been a huge fan of cats, so I think he was as astonished as anybody when Mum woke him up,â Falloon said.
Falloonâs parents eventually discovered the catâs name is Ziggy. Heâs a nice neighborhood cat that has been known to stop by other peopleâs houses to say hi on occasion.
On this particular day, though, his visit was more similar to a house call.
What about after the nap? âDr. Ziggy lingered for a little kiss before heading off to his next appointment,â Falloon explained.
Itâs hard to determine how much Ziggyâs unprompted snuggle session benefited Falloonâs fatherâs recovery. However, as everyone knows, spending time with a cute kitty is always beneficial for the soul.
âAfter his procedure, Dad is well and fully on the mend,â Falloon added.
Excellent work, Ziggy!
