Not a cute look 😂
Dewey is a boisterous, quirky, and expressive dog that enjoys playing outside in all four seasons. While water is undoubtedly his favorite, he also enjoys snow and is always up for making the most of any situation.
“In the midst of winter, he fled our yard, and my mom spotted him playing in the frozen river outside our house,” Dewey’s family member Sadie Swicker told The Dodo.
Dewey’s folks took him to a large snowy field one winter day so he could run around and play. He was overjoyed and began zipping all over the place. Swicker felt it would be great to try and take some images of the lovely location while Dewey was playing. Until Dewey decided to get involved, the snowy field appeared like a wonderful choice for a panoramic image.
“If you’ve ever shot a panorama, you know that if a moving item passes across it, it will appear deformed and malformed – sometimes it simply looks funny, but other times it looks humorous,” Swicker explained. “When Dewey raced across the photo, this is what occurred.”
Swicker knew it wasn’t going to turn out the way she had hoped as soon as Dewey came through the shot, but she had no clue how hilarious it would be.
“I had to do a double take when I saw it,” Swicker added. “It was the most beautiful panoramic gone bad – it truly looked like a Photoshopped two-legged, yellow snow beast.”
Dewey was so happy to play in the snow that he ran right through the shot and ended up assisting his mother in creating something amazing.
Swicker concluded that the shot was too good to keep to herself. She put it on the internet to see whether anybody else thought it was as funny and lovely as she did — and, of course, they did.
“I had a feeling it would attract a lot of attention,” Swicker said, “but it got a lot more than I expected.” “Some of my favorite comments were, ‘I was having a very horrible day and this just made me laugh and smile,’ and ‘I was having a really bad day and this just made me laugh and smile.’ This lovely, unusual image of a dog appears to have caused a lot of people to laugh out loud — and that makes me happy.”
Dewey’s enthusiasm and enthusiasm for snow culminated in something that made a lot of people laugh and smile, which is precisely what Dewey is all about.
