Already BFFs 👯‍♂️

Bentley knew he and his new baby brother would be great friends from the moment he was born.

Bentley’s mother, Kelly Madsen, told The Dodo, “At the hospital, we wrapped our newborn in a blanket then passed [the blanket] on to my parents who had Bentley to let him smell and get comfortable with his fragrance.” “When we finally got our kid home, we put him in his car seat, and Bentley immediately rushed over to sniff him and wag his tail happily.” Bentley has been quite kind with him and appears to recognize him as a member of our pack.”

KELLY MADSEN

Bentley now takes his new obligations as a big brother extremely seriously. He’s very protective of his little brother and tries to spend as much time with him as possible.

“Whenever he hears a scream, he goes over and starts whimpering,” Madsen explained. “We have a bassinet where he naps, and Bentley gets agitated when we put him in it because he can’t see the baby directly.”

Bentley will make sure that anything the infant requires is provided. Bentley is always present to supervise each new activity that involves the infant. He is the best friend and guardian of his little brother. Period.

Bentley’s parents decided to take a newborn photograph for the new baby one day. Bentley arrived to investigate as they prepared everything and quickly decided he needed to be involved. Bentley is used to posing for photos and enjoys being the center of attention. He also enjoys being close to his younger brother at all times.

Bentley wasn’t planning on being in the photographs at all, but he didn’t really offer his family an option.

KELLY MADSEN

“Bentley insisted on staying close beside the infant, so there was no way to take them without him,” Madsen explained.

Madsen was able to get a number of wonderful images of Bentley and his baby sibling, and she was overjoyed when she saw the results.

KELLY MADSEN

“I adore the photos; it’s great to witness our two kids’ closeness, even if one is a little furrier than the other,” Madsen remarked. “Seeing how friendly and loving he is with Bentley, our first kid, fills my heart!”

KELLY MADSEN

Bentley likes being a big brother and can’t wait till his younger brother is old enough to crawl around with him and get into mischief.
