Two Indian scops owls are disguised in the photograph.
Photographer Hardik Shelat captured the image on a visit to Palanpur, Gujarat, in 2019.
Hardik and his companions were advised that the Indian scops owls may be seen in the jungle near Balaram Palace Resort. They decided to go bird watching in the vicinity. They found the owls after about two hours of searching.
“We went by that location three times but didn’t notice them till the fourth time,” Shelat told Times Now Digital.

“If they not peeping out from that hole, we would never have spotted them,” Shelat said.
