“It was awkward” 😅
Meet Milly the cat and Lupim, her dog sibling.
According to their owner Amanda Alckmim, the furry pair’s relationship at home began rocky, but it eventually blossomed into something special. Milly and Lupim grew to appreciate each other’s company.
“They’re best friends,” Alckmim explained.
Recently, however, a simple trip to the groomer threatened to derail Milly and Lupim’s good fortune.
Alckmim recently decided that little Lupim’s curly coifs had grown a little too long. As a result, she arranged for him to get a cleaner haircut, which significantly reduced his shagginess.
Milly, on the other hand, had missed the memo.
Milly seemed to regard Lupim as a brand-new puppy when he returned from the groomer, apparently convinced that Alckmim had brought home the wrong dog.

Lupim was looking dashing in his new ‘do, but Milly’s icy reaction ruined his big reveal. He was unfamiliar to her.
“It was really awkward,” Alckmim admitted.
Fortunately, Milly soon realized that, despite his appearance, Lupim was her old friend after all.
(Or, perhaps, the new imposter dog’s personality was so similar to Lupim’s that she was fine with the switch.)
Lupim is not only happy with his new look, but he is also back to spending time with his favorite cat.
“Milly was taken aback to see Lupim after the groomer,” Alckmim explained. “However, they’re now friends again.”
