Many artists get inspiration from nature’s remarkable beauty in their work. Anna Paschenko (of Roslynka), a Ukrainian artist, is well recognized for her exquisite resin and glass artworks that depict the fleeting beauty of breaking surf waves. Paschenko creates hanging wall mirrors surrounded by the outlines of breaking ocean waves by combining the translucent fluidity of her resin art with the reflecting characteristics of mirrors in some of her pieces.
Each handmade piece brings a little bit of the seaside into your home decor, transporting you just for an instant to a calming shore. In addition to her sea and ocean-inspired collections, Paschenko also works with pressed flowers and botanicals, incorporating them into her home decor pieces. Framed using a stained glass technique, the dried flowers and botanicals are sealed between two pieces of glass along with a two-millimeter mirror. The accented pieces, which she cuts into a variety of shapes, are at once both decorative and functional with their delicate charm.
