Nature is full of impressive things, from magnificent mountain ranges to gorgeous deep sea views to stunning starry night skyscapes. But, let’s face it, none of it compares to the magnificence you’re about to experience.
Meet Frederik the Great, a beautiful Friesian horse from the Ozarks in the Central United States who is often regarded as the most gorgeous stud in the world. Frederik, named after the legendary 18th century Prussian ruler, has won many hearts with his stunning curly mane and pitch black coat.
People began sharing images of the now-19-year-old horse in 2016, and he quickly soared to fame. When this happened, Bored Panda had already covered his magnificence. Frederik’s fan following has increased tremendously since then, with over 97,000 followers on his Facebook page.
Stacy Nazario, Frederik’s owner, told Bored Panda that his temperament matches his aristocratic appearance, describing him as loving and sensitive. To top it all off, he is exceptionally photogenic, therefore Bored Panda invites you to view some of his greatest images below.

“Frederik’s huge personality and stunning looks captivated audiences worldwide, earning him the title World’s Most Handsome Horse,” Nazario explained. “His big personality in shows and public is immediately noticed; he always announces his presence by a loud whinny when he enters a show arena, letting audiences know ‘Elvis is in the building.'”
She went on: “He enjoys bragging about himself. Aside from his stunning attractiveness, Frederik is a kind giant who enjoys being around people and children and giving kisses.”
We asked Nazario what a normal day for Frederik looked like. She had the following to say: “Frederik’s normal day fluctuates based on his schedule and the time of year. There is, of course, plenty of love, nourishment, grooming, and exercise. Frederik adores his followers and has a highly active social life and social media presence.”
Friesians, like many horses, require a great deal of care and attention: “Friesians, in general, required great care. Summer might be difficult since they are dark and easily hot. Frederik, on the other hand, has fans and misters all around his stable, where he spends a lot of time when he’s hot. Grooming and maintaining his thick mane and tail takes a lot of additional time, but it’s well worth it.”
That it certainly is, as many commentators have stated that Frederik’s magnificent hair is to die for.
Finally, we spoke about Frederik’s favorite snacks and meals with Nazario: “Frederik eats organic vitamins, minerals, dried fruit, veggies, and bermuda hay. All-natural horse treats are his favorite food.”

He is handsome, in some photos, but in others that huge mane is really untidy, and why on Earth do you leave those scraggy brown ends to his mane? That looks unkempt! My horses never had manes and tails left like that. The weight pushed to one side is considerable! I am not impressed, quite the opposite! Please tidy up the mane ends!
