Despite your best efforts, Pisco will always be cuter than you.
With his giant eyes and ginger-tinged fur, the golden British shorthair resembles Puss in Boots from Shrek 2, especially when he makes the iconic “please give me treats” expression.
And he really nailed that expression.

We’re seriously impressed that his owner doesn’t shower him with whatever he wants, 24/7.
What Pisco does get plenty of, mind you, is cuddles.
Unlike the aloof kitty stereotype you may have in your mind, Pisco is a pet who absolutely loves to snuggle up – although he wasn’t always that way.
‘When we first got Pisco he wasn’t the cuddle bear he is right now,’ wrote his owner in an Instagram Q&A. ‘He was very skittish and wouldn’t want us to hold him or touch him at all.
‘But every day we show him it’s okay and we wouldn’t force him to cuddle or grab him. Soon he became a lot more confident and started to get curious.
‘And now he’s a super teddy bear and loves to cuddle.’
These days, the celebrity cat lives a life of luxury in New York, with all the toys and attention his heart desires.
And the good news for us: he’s always happy to pose for a pic, so we all get to enjoy just how gorgeous he is.
