A small bear was brought to a zoo in Pennsylvania more than 30 years ago.
The cub, given the name Fifi by the zoo staff, was imprisoned against her will because the zoo owners only wanted to use her as a form of entertainment.
Fifi was made to perform tricks and was never given any love or respect; she was forced to live in abhorrent circumstances and was fed terrible food.
The hell-like zoo was finally closed down after twenty years, but they did terrible things instead of releasing Fifi.
For the next ten years of her life, she was forced to wait for a buyer while being imprisoned in a rusty cage.
Luckily, certain angels came to her rescue.
It was none other than animal rights organization People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), who were told about Fifi’s situation and came to her rescue.
PETA’s slogan is “Animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, use for entertainment, or abuse in any other way.”
The organization is also known for saving neglected animals who have ended up in the wrong hands.
When PETA first found Fifi, she was in bad shape — she was physically weak and malnourished.
She barely looked like a living creature, let alone a healthy and strong bear. To make matters worse, Fifi had arthritis which had been left untreated.
PETA immediately transported her to the The Wild Animal Sanctuary in Colorado, where she received the necessary treatment she was in dire need of.
Today, Fifi, a brown Syrian brown bear originally from the Middle East, has been given a new chance new in life — far away from her former tormentors.
Have a look at the video below to see how Fifi looks today and the transformation she has gone through. She truly is a wonderful being!
This video serves as compelling evidence of the need to continue the fight against animal cruelty.
Please share it if you were also happy to watch Fifi being released!

It’s hard to stop crying, so very, very sad seeing this poor Fifi locked away for thirty years in such shocking conditions. Then seeing her rescued and given the living conditions she should have always had, what an amazing outcome, she looks amazing.
Thank all involved in these wonderful rescues of poor animals., it must be so rewarding for them to see these amazing transformations. Thank all once again. ❤️🥰❤️👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Thanks for giving these animals a comfortable life
There are things that PETA does that infuriate me like stealing pets off porches and yards and telling people they find homes for them but euthanizing them for no good reason. I stopped donating for this reason.
Then there are things PETA does where they shine, mainly saving wild and captive animals like Fifi. Please use your donations wisely and ethically by sticking to ensure the welfare of wild animals and leave companion animals alone.
