“We’re praying for a miracle: to find someone wonderful willing to take on all of them!”
Chico, Daisy, and Mitch were discovered living in a trailer with several other Chihuahuas and were immediately taken up by the RSPCA. When the triplets initially came to the shelter, they were quite cautious, and it took employees months to gain their confidence. They’ve become so much more confident and loving over time, but one thing hasn’t changed: their love for each other.
Chico, Daisy, and Mitch are best pals who can’t tolerate being away. They’re really close, and their rescuers are trying to find them the right forever home together.
“When Chico, Daisy, and Mitch came, they were under-socialized and quite afraid of humans,” Tiffany Saunders, the RSPCA’s Block Fen Animal Centre’s kennels supervisor, stated in a news statement. “It took us a while to break them out of their shells, but we’re now beginning to know who they are as people.” They may be little, but they are formidable, and each has their unique personality, but they share one thing – their love for one other! We genuinely want to keep this trio together, therefore we’re praying for a miracle: to find someone exceptional willing to take on all of them!”
So far, the trio has sparked a lot of interest, but the shelter hasn’t been able to find them the right match. Their rescuers describe them as feisty, and they require a family who can meet each of their unique requirements.
“Daisy is without a doubt the ruler of the gang,” Saunders remarked. “She is also the most wary of strangers and will make you struggle for her affection.” She adores long walks and likes chasing Mitch around the paddocks. She enjoys cuddling and is quite loving once she has gained your trust. Chico is the most self-sufficient of the three; he’s content doing his own thing and enjoys mooching around and going for a good sniff. He does, however, like cuddling up to his companions before sleep and becomes rather worried if he is unable to do so.
Mitch is shy at first but quickly warms up to you. He had to be carried out on walks at first, but he is gradually learning that walks can be enjoyable! He’s a pig who will try to steal Daisy’s meals, so keep your eyes open during mealtimes.”
These Chihuahuas are looking for a calm home with experienced dog owners who can devote time to getting to know each of the three and assisting them in adjusting to their new life. They’d prefer a house with few guests, no other dogs, and plenty of room to withdraw to when they’re feeling scared or overwhelmed. They’ve gone through a lot, and now all they want is somewhere tranquil with people who care about them, where they can all relax and be themselves.
“It took us a while to form ties with this little group, but now that we have, they’ve demonstrated how caring they are,” Saunders added. “However, we understand that any new owners will have to work hard to earn this trust.”
It may take some time to find the proper match for these three, but their rescuers refuse to give up and are prepared to wait. The ideal family to adopt all three of them is undoubtedly out there.
“We understand that taking on one dog is a significant responsibility, so taking on three is a hefty ask,” Saunders explained. “But we genuinely don’t want to split this trio.” “We’re hoping that someone out there is the right fit for Chico, Daisy, and Mitch.”
