Storm, a horse, is taking the Internet by…storm. Thanks to her flowing golden locks, the eight-year-old Haflinger mare (a breed famed for their magnificent hair) has a devoted social media following. Her delicate curls are not only wonderfully arranged, but they also cascade down her back with ease. Storm was given the moniker “Rapunzel” after the figure from the classic fairy tale.
Storm’s human is Naomi Beckers. After witnessing Storm’s beautiful head of hair, the 24-year-old student and entrepreneur acquired her from her previous owner two years ago. Beckers has the same golden wavy curls that flow down her head as she does, and the two might be hair twins. The Haflinger horse’s hair has been growing and developing since entering the young woman’s life—intentionally maintained long and glossy. It hasn’t been cut since she was two years old, and it has grown to be more than three feet long. It is braided on occasion for her protection.
Storm has an Instagram following of over 34,000 people, so it’s safe to say she’s well-known. In fact, fans can’t seem to get enough of him. “I was intending on posting a few images on it [Storm’s Instagram] from time to time,” Beckers adds, “but people were asking me when I was going to publish another shot.” “It’s a little out of hand, but I think it’s wonderful that it’s grown so much!”
