A cute owl rushing in the middle of the road is captured by a photographer

This is the wonderful moment an owl ran across the yard and was caught on video.

Hannie Heere, a 63-year-old Dutch wildlife photographer, was photographing owls in the barn when she came upon the tiny fellow.

Barn owls don’t start flapping their wings until they’re seven weeks old, and they can fly for short distances by eight weeks.

However, before then, newborn owls must walk using their legs in order to build these muscles.

This particular baby owl chose to do it by going for a run, and lucky for us, Heere was there to catch the occasion.

Heere explained, “I was sleeping on the ground.” “This tiny bird hasn’t flown yet, but she’s not terrified.” “I shot the image from around 5 to 6 meters [16 ft] away.”

Since it was uploaded online, the photo has gained in popularity and has been used as a meme on different social media platforms.

Heere remarked, “I was very, extremely startled [by the photo’s popularity].”
