That sweet smile 😍
Daisy, a sweet Chihuahua, has been bringing smiles to her owners’ faces every day for well over a decade.
So, when it came time to celebrate Daisy’s 15th birthday, her family deliberated long and hard about how to bring a big smile to her face.
“We knew we wanted to throw her a big quinceaera,” Daisy’s owner, Tracy Nguyen, told The Dodo. “In honor of her incredible life and as a nod to her roots!”
Daisy’s big day was planned with no expense spared by the family.
And it most emphatically was.
Daisy’s family and friends gathered to surprise the beloved dog, and they even decorated the house for the occasion. It was their chance to express how much Daisy meant to them.
“We could all tell she felt the love,” Nguyen said.
But, of course, no birthday party would be complete without a cake. And the family had something truly special in store for that.
Rather than getting Daisy just any old birthday cake, the family commissioned one that was personalized for her, complete with Daisy’s adorable likeness.
She was completely smitten.
“When we brought out the cake for her special occasion, her eyes welled up with tears, and she was overjoyed,” Nguyen said.
Daisy, who is now a senior dog, may be getting on in years. Despite this, she enjoyed every minute of the festivities planned for her.
“She had a fantastic time!” Nyguen stated.
The party was a huge success in the end. Daisy was overjoyed to be surrounded by so much love and affection from those she cares about the most.
Her family would never let her have it any other way.
“Daisy is truly the heart of our family, and we’ve been so grateful for so many years to have such an amazing, funny, chonky, and loving companion in our lives,” Nguyen said. “With all of our hearts, we adore her.”
