Optical illusions always give our brains a good workout! They are made to make us question reality. We see something and our mind deciphers something else completely.
But some illusions are far more divisive than others, Today, we have a cat image sitting on a plastic tub – and you may notice something isn’t quite right about it.
Is Cat sitting or flying?
The optical illusion was shared on Facebook – and purportedly only a few people will be able to tell what’s up with it in the first view.
The image shows a cat sitting on a plastic bathtub on the floor and it seems the cat is flying in the air with the bathtub until you look at it again.
Many users have been left baffled and everyone seems to have a different answer on the first look at the image.

Earlier, an optical illusion that makes a circle change colour also caused a stir online. The optical illusion, created by Lenstore, looks like it’s changing colour – but is it? The image might be the most mind-bending yet.
As the blue circle moves from left to right, it seems as if it is changing colour. But in reality, it doesn’t change at all. It’s all down to a different coloured background. As per Lenstore, the circle appears a lighter blue at the start when up against a darker blue background and the opposite at the end when it looks a darker blue against a light blue background.
It might look like a simple illusion, but that doesn’t make it any less baffling. The illusion works because of the cells we have in our retina at the back of our eye.
Another optical illusion that tricks people into believing these two baseballs are the same colour went viral.
At first glance, it looks like the two baseballs are of different colours. But once you focus and look closely, you’ll see otherwise.
The brain teaser was created by David Novick, a University of Texas professor. “If you look closely you can see that the balls are overlaid with different coloured lines,” Novick said.
The balls appear to have different coloured horizontal lines layered on them. They are – red, green, yellow, and blue. In the image, green and blue lines run across the baseball on the left, while red and yellow lines run across the baseball on the right.
Because of the different lines on the baseballs, it creates an illusion that one baseball is of a lighter shade than the other. But if you look past the lines, you’ll see both baseballs are of the same colour.
