Have you seen it? Before Tuesday’s storms hit, an unique “rainbow cloud” was spotted over Loudoun County, Virginia.
These wonderful photographs were sent to us by Michael Siuta.

Siuta and his wife saw the “natural phenomenon” from their back deck in Beacon Hill, just west of Leesburg, he added.
“We termed them ‘rainbow clouds,’ but we now know they’re also known as “iridescent clouds with rainbow colors,” he explained. “A storm front was approaching from the west, and this is what we observed on the front edge.” Clouds are said to have a silver lining… yet some have a rainbow lining!”
