When A Shelter Worker Is Blindfolded, He Or She Can Tell Which Dogs Are Whose Only By Petting Them

She knows them all so well ❤️️

Kasey Cleland has been working at the Greensburg & Decatur County Animal Shelter for ten months and has been acquainted with all of the animals. She tries to spend as much time as she can with each one before they are adopted, and they all adore her as much as she does them.

Cleland told The Dodo, “I’m really happy to be approaching my one-year mark.” “I’m in love with this place. I spend five out of seven days a week with the dogs, and I get them out of their kennels at least twice a day for breaks and outside time, but I strive to do more.”

Because Cleland spends so much time with the dogs, she and her coworkers decided to put her to the test by blindfolding her and asking her to tell which dog was whose simply by caressing them.

This may appear to be a difficult task, but it was actually rather simple for Cleland.

Cleland’s employees would bring a dog over to her, and she would predict whose dog it was based on a variety of indicators such as the dog’s energy, how they acted, and how they felt. It didn’t take her long to make an educated prediction, and she was nearly always correct.

Does it really matter if the one she got incorrect on the first try she got right on the second? Cleland, her employees, and especially the dogs, all had a great time putting this experiment to the test, and everyone on the internet appeared to enjoy it as well.

“I’ve had a lot of great remarks about how much I care about the animals and how well they’re handled,” Cleland said. “They want us to make a series out of it.”

Cleland is very familiar with the animals at her shelter and will continue to love them as much as she can until they all find their ultimate homes.
