“They couldn’t get to each other fast enough” ❤️️
Having someone you love by your side makes it easier to go through a trying period. This is especially true for Pasta and Pepsi, two rescue dogs. The two canines physically needed one other for warmth and comfort after being abandoned outside in a neighborhood that wasn’t their own.
Logan’s Legacy founder Suzette Hall told us that the neighbors used to essentially lie on top of one another at night.
Five days after the two puppies were originally spotted in the area, Hall got a message about them. Locals said that the canines remained in the same spot the entire time, waiting in a group on the street corner where they were probably placed.
There is no chance these dogs are still there, so I simply decided to go, Hall added. But when I arrived, they were already waiting.
As soon as Hall found them, she saw how tense and matted the dogs were. She swiftly caught one of the dogs, but it took considerably longer to get the second dog.
Hall declared, “I’ll remain the entire night if I have to, and I’ll never leave one behind if there are two.”
Hall put the first puppy in a box and situated the crate just behind the humane trap in order to lure the second pup into the trap. This worked, and two hours after the first puppy was saved, Hall also captured the second one with success.
But when Hall started her car with the two puppies in different kennels, she soon realized the dogs were upset about being apart.
They were attempting to reach one another, according to Hall. It was obvious to me that they needed one another.
As a result, Hall stopped the car, unlocked the dogs’ cages, and got them all into the front seat together. Pasta and Pepsi immediately cuddled up on top of one another after being reunited, precisely as the neighbors had said they had done while waiting for their owners on the corner.
Hall remarked, “You can’t even begin to fathom the wagging of the tails while I was pulling them out. They were unable to reach one another quickly enough.
Pasta and Pepsi have remained together throughout the rehabilitation process due to their strong relationship. When they have recovered from their diseases, they will both be placed in foster care. Currently, they are undergoing treatment for their ailments at the veterinarian together.
Following foster care, the two will be adopted together into a single family where they may continue to cuddle while being showered with the love they deserve.
