Rescue Snake Assists His Mother By Pretending To Be A Scrunchie

“He always gravitates towards my hair.”

Cheyanne Brubaker adopted Gazpacho when his family was unable to provide him with the attention he required. While it took him a while to adjust to his new surroundings, after approximately two weeks, his true personality began to emerge.

Brubaker told The Dodo, “He is quite sociable and gentle.” “He enjoys climbing and exploring.”

Gazpacho was out exploring one day when he decided to try something new. He slithered up to Brubaker and wrapped himself like a hair tie around her hair. She wasn’t expecting that, but she was overjoyed that Gazpacho felt comfortable enough to snuggle up to her like that.

“It was a wonderful surprise,” Brubaker added. “I’m so relieved he’s secure enough with me now to climb me!”

When Gazpacho is snuggling with his mom, he has the option to roam wherever he wants, but for some reason, he consistently selects the same position.

“He constantly gravitates towards my hair,” Brubaker stated in a Gazpacho video.

Brubaker now wraps himself around Gazpacho’s hair whenever he takes her up. It’s Brubaker’s favorite hangout, and he wouldn’t have it any other way.

“He normally spends a few minutes up there and then wraps around my neck for a few minutes,” Brubaker said.

Gazpacho’s charming new habit was uploaded online by Brubaker with the hopes of reminding others that snakes don’t have to be terrifying. They can be so gentle and adorable, and it’s probable that Gazpacho posing as a hair tie encouraged some individuals to rescue their own snake.

“I was astonished since I expected most people to be afraid by the video because of many people’s phobia of snakes, but an overwhelming majority considered him charming,” Brubaker said. “Some folks even contemplated saving their own snake” (with proper research, of course). I believe it helped to dispel the myth that all snakes are harmful and aggressive.”

Despite the fact that Gazpacho’s first home didn’t work out, he’s thrilled to be a part of his new family, and Brubaker can’t wait to see what types of adventures he’ll get into next.
