“She stopped in her tracks” 😂
Marquette is a fetch-obsessed dog that never fails to get thrilled when she sees a ball.
However, Marquette recently noticed a different ball, not understanding that it was more than a bit out of reach.
Marquette saw something gleaming brilliantly in the dusk sky the other day while out for a nighttime stroll with her owner, Gretchen Bach. She was completely enthralled.
“Marquette came to a halt and began looking up into the sky,” Bach told The Dodo. “Initially, I assumed she was staring at a bird. But then she noticed the moon.”
The moon appeared to the pup’s eager eyes, perceiving it for the first time, to be a heavenly tennis ball on the point of being hurled for her. She was all set to play fetch with it.

“I couldn’t believe she saw the moon!” Bach stated. “I believe she was perplexed as to why something in the sky was not moving! Perhaps she mistook it for a ball. She probably pursued it for 30 seconds.”
However, the moon could not be captured.

Marquette was disappointed because she didn’t got to play fetch with the moon. That evening, though, with an inquisitive and ardent look focused aloft to the heavens, Marquette joined the ranks of some of history’s greatest minds – contemplating and attempting to reach realms beyond our own.
For the time being, though, an ordinary tennis ball will suffice. The owner of Marquette, on the other hand, is still impressed.
“I am quite proud of her,” Bach stated.
